Through her company, Everest delivers customized and powerful speeches to education, business and industry professionals. Her topics include: "Distressed, Eustressed — We’re All Stressed,” "Why Are My Car Keys in the Refrigerator? Work Overload?" and "Change is Not a Four-letter Word."

An adjunct professor at TCU, Everest also serves her alma mater on the advisory board of the University of North Texas' College of Higher Education and Development as well as the advisory board for Texas Wesleyan's College of Education Counseling Program. Everest also holds a position on the Board of Directors for Texas Counseling Association.
